I have been very unlucky when playing online.When I feel Im moving on top then it seems there is one thing that is holding me back.This frustrates me a lot.It doesn't mean I do have a bad hands always it's just other players have always have a better hands than me.Do you think I should quit playing online?I've been very frustrated with this happening to me always I've played online.any suggestions?

You've got to be patient! You can't expect to win with every good hand you have, and you've got to take things steady.

It seems you make too many plays - you should have folded having seen a few of your hands posted, so perhaps reassess what you consider a "strong hand" and try and take things from there.

Don't give up!

I agree on you ThomasR.patients I think is he's problem.Every poker player will pass this test of patience.Otherwise dont play poker if you can't be patient.

The bane of existance

It's all well and good, but people seem to want to play and win too much too soon. They don't realise you need experience before you can play high limits and can end up losing a fortune.

You've got to play the hands depending on the situation. Sometimes, a low pair can win a big pot, another day you need a full house or a royal flush, it all depends on the circumstances.

Watch the cards, watch the bets. If someone plays it cautiously then makes a flush on the river, it's bad luck but if they play aggressively throughout the hand and you go in with a marginal one then you only have yourself to blame.
